How Much Is a Bowl Worth to You?

So my friend let me smoke a bowl of some of his herb the other day, and now he's asking me for $10. In my mind, this is beyond ridiculous. A bowl is nowhere near worth $10. Do you think I should argue or just pay him since he was kind enough to let me smoke it?

i agree. I blaze my friends for free all the time. it's like buying someone a cup of coffee when you're buying one for yourself, or having a beer and giving one to your friend. If i was chillin with some friends and had a beer i would say 'hey you want one?' and definitely wouldn't say 'hey by the way, you owe me money for that beer' after they finish it. it's common courtesy. Why are people assholes?

WELL, let's review some circumstances. Although in my world it is completely stingey to ask someone for money for a bowl. BUT it depends. Did he pack up a bowl when you were hanging out and smoke it with you? if that's the case you shouldn't pay him, unless of course he's not just being stingey and really needs some cash, in which case you should give him 5$ maybe. If you asked him to pack it up, or even worse, bummed a bowl and didn't smoke it with him or anything.... then i guess he kind of has the right to ask for a little bit in return. but 10$ is re-fucking-diculous.
