Need boot recommendations

Hi all, im looking for a new boot but am struggling to decide which one. Im an advanced skier and spend most of my ski time in Australia. I mostly ski all mountain with lots of off piste and groomers and sometimes hit up the park. Most of my trips are ruined through shin bang and toe bang as im using an older pair of boots and frequently hit side hits and big drops to flat. As im a lighter skier (60kg) im looking at something like a full tilt descendant as they are constantly raved about and the idea of having no shin bang appeals to me. If I was to chuck maybe the 8 or 10 flex tongue on it, do you reckon this boot would be good for my style of riding. Also open to other recommendations! Thanks

i had the full tilt seth morrison wich was 10 flex. my shins hurt so bad i had to take take breaks in the lodge every hour. i got the descenant 4 for a good price and i felt better almost right away. i bought a 6 flex after and that is perfect for my use. i ride about all mtn and it's not too soft. i can still butter fine on my fairly stiff poachers. so getting a 6-8 flex is the best in my opinion. the descendants are super comfortable and they are more durable than the normal FT design. (the wires snapped at times)

Go to a bootfitter.
Everybody has a different foot and what might work for some people isn’t going to work for another foot.
You’ll be grateful for it.

If you can swing it and you have a bootfitter in your town or close by go see one. Boots are the most important piece of equipment you have skiing. If your feet are uncomfortable you'll dread going skiing cuz they hurt and if you are in a bott that is improperly fitted you wont ski as good as you would with a nice fitting boot.
