Newschoolers Fantasy Football Money League V.7

Football season is right around the corner and there is nothing better than some good ol newschoolers fantasy football. TheBearJew is stepping down from commissioner and I will be taking over for the season. The league will be a $25 dollar buy in, same rules as last year. 12 man league, snake draft, half point (0.5) PPR. For payment, we take PayPal, Venmo or Cash App.

Here is the list of participants from last year who have priority to return for this upcoming season. If there is an opening we will select from the waitlist to fill those vacancies. So if you are trying to get in on the fun make sure you post in the thread and remember it's first come first serve.

Top 6 teams
1 and 2 get a bye in week 14
3v6 and 4v5 in week 14
semifinals in week 15
finals in week 16

semifinals in week 15
finals in week 16


I'll be fixing the playoff structure sometime today... I noticed it was all messed up the other day, but wasn't sure what everyone wanted to do. Did we do this format last year as well?

Yeah for sure, thats like the "real" way to do it, espn defaults to week 17 which isnt fair because stars sit in week 17, not great for finals.

This was his best game of the year... With Smith going down they will probably stay more committed to the run. I would be surprised if he repeats this performance again.

Last year we did a 4 team playoff but we were in divisions.... I would be down for a 6 team playoff to make it more competitive. Everyone else on board?

4 team playoff is not the way to do it, we need a 6 team playoff weeks 14,15, and 16

A very necessary win. I either need to win out or "Lol james white" needs to lose one more game. Theres still a chance we finish with the same record and my points for continue to lack.

Christ even the 4-7 teams could make it in if we both lose out. Too close for comfort.

my lack of a reliable RB2 is killing me. Dion Lewis has been a complete bust.

If Will Fuller hadn't torn his ACL, i'd have unloaded a now under-performing Golden Tate (with two byes) and replaced Dion Lewis with Joe Mixon.

Well I think the final playoff spot is going to come down to points. Theres a few of us that will be 6-7. If the eagles D score less than 10 and "Lol James White" has to lose I'll make it in. That's if Peterson puts up a goose egg which I'm planning for.

Been a good season. Hopefully it can keep going for me.

it's entirely possible that i lose... which would be the shit cherry on top of the shit sundae this season has been for me.

i don't think it is mathematically possible for me to backdoor my way into the playoffs at this point, but will gladly relish in potentially keeping someone out of it... no offense.
