TRVP_ANGELHow about picking a school that will further develop your career?
eheathCollege is what you make it, you can have fun anywhere you go. TBH you'll be happy at either, just depends on where you want to live, Utah will obviously have superior skiing, great MTB around utah, plenty of cliffs to jump off of (not as good as east coast) and contrary to popular belief, they do sell booze in utah.
tfshI looked at both schools last summer (visited both etc). If your looking for the best skiing UofU is by far, without a doubt, better. However, from a student life perspective I firmly believe UVM is a better place to be. UVM had an extremely vibrant and fun community while everyone at UofU looked like sad dogs just staring at the ground. For me, a good mix and compromise of culture and skiing was MSU. However, I think UVM would have the most holistic experience, as that is what you seem to be looking for. I have a bunch of friends who go their and absolutely love it. Also, what are you trying to study, UofU and UVM both have good and bad majors.
JsalzmannI am just curious, by MSU did you mean michigan or Montana state?
