Why isn't there an obviously Jewish skier emoticon. As a jew, I feel excluded from the sport and I really feel having a Jewish skiing emoticon would really make me feel more included.

Twitter update: Caroline Gleich believes the only way woman (as in herself) can be represented in the ski industry are with wisps of hair and purple clothing

shes nuts
Because she thinks that women skiers deserve the same representation as men in the new-ish lexicon group that encompasses 90% of the worlds 3.2 billion Internet users?

"What do you call that grab?"
"The penny snatcher"
Its not weird, its fucking pathetic. We have it so easy compared to pretty much all other humans who ever lived. Caroline needs to read her history so she actually knows what is real hardship.
She’s not wrong. Apple could have made a more feminine skier. I just think it’s funny that someone who gets paid to do what I consider ski acting feels like she doesn’t belong.
Thats exactly the point. People in a position of privilege like her/other pro skiers making "issues" that only come about because of their position a big deal. She's not wrong for wanting advocate more representation for women, but do you think other groups, especially women of color/minority women who are marginalized even more give a shit that some pro skier girl from Utah doesn't have an emoji of herself? I try to stay away from discussing women movements and stuff because Im not a woman and aren't in their shoes. But i'd be kind of irked by Caroline using this platform for the social brownie points.
I dont want to say it takes away from the movement but this one could be at the bottom of the feminism to-do lists, i feel like.
