I went out West for my first time over spring break and I noticed so many people taking their skis off and taking the gondola down the mountain. Like seriously, you got so tired that you couldn't do one more run? I could understand maybe if someone got hurt like broke their hand so they decided to take the life down, but I saw way too many people doing it for them all to have happened from a fall.

I went out west for the first time last year and noticed the same thing. I think the majority of downloaders are little kids (and older folks) from ski school, who can’t ski the terrain below the lift. Also, there was a restaurant and shop connected to the terminal at the top of the mtn, so many tourists went up just to visit those and had to ride the gondi down.
