I was looking at my skis after skiing yesterday and saw this gap inbetween the sidewall and edge. Should i try to fix it with epoxy and clamps? or contact faction?
I had this. On my skis it was that the binding had been put on badly and split the ski. You can take the binding off above the split and if it closes up you know its that. Then talk to who ever mounted them
I had a pair of afterbangs that did this. If you do epoxy make sure you use it very sparingly, if the base is anything but flat they will ride like shit.
If it turns out to be the bindings you will have to sort that out with whom ever mounted them since it will be there fault. Also I don't know the full story. You'll have to think about how old they are. If you think its a factory problem and they are still under warranty then get in touch with faction.
