Recently got my first pair of Full Tilts, Drop Kicks with 6 flex tongues. Itâ€™s a pefect size, no spare room in liners, but they have been killing me in shins area when I try to ollie,nose press or just hit a small kicker. They havenâ€™t been molded, but somehow they deformed in the area where tongue goes over the liner as you can see in the pictures, and there is a little bit of room in the shin area no matter how hard I tighten them up(as if the liners can't be fully sealed over my shins )... Is that usual for them to have a deformity like this, or I am just an idiot who doesn't know how to use Full Tilts? :V
Should molding them maybe help? I didn't do it so far since they fit me really well besides the mentioned problem that I haven't discovered untill I tried them in the slopes.
I previously had Salomon quest access 80, but I had some wiggle room in the heel area, so I changed them for these that are definitely a good fit except the shin area, but I think that is just due to mentioned deformity... How much of a flex difference is between these 2 boots? Do I just need to get used to a stiffer boot? Although 20 flex index shoudn't be that big of a deal since I figure these are around 100ish flex, or am I wrong?
