In the market for new boots, on a limited budget, so I have to get last year's models (as if it mattered).
Found these Rossis, Rossignol Allspeed Pro 120:
Pretty heavily discounted ($400 down from $700)
What's wrong with them? That's a steep discount for a 16-17 model...
I've never owned Rossi boots, just Tecnica, Nordica, and Head. I have *slightly* wider-than-normal feet, which has always caused problems.
Only *honest* review I could find stated that the plastic stiffens up like crazy when in the cold... but all boots do that, no?
Is this discount too good to be true? Is it even a fair price? I haven't bought new boots since like 2007 when I was swimming in cash and didn't care. Now I have to watch it.
P.S. I mostly ski in-bounds and on the edges, steeps and Utah pow, when I'm lucky.
