Describe a bad day/ bad experience you had today

Mine

Day started with me finding out I was charged 130$ from a magazine subscription I had forgotten about

Running late to work I Got a traffic violation of 350$ and now a court date

Another shit day at the job I hate so much and in the middle I realized how i’m only here because I haven’t done shit to get outta here so im just being a shitty person on myself

Get to work, put in a good 7 hours then want to go night shredding but somebody stole my mitts and earbuds

Get home my fucking brand new phone screen (iphone 8plus) cracks because Apple makes piece of shit phones that drop easily

honestly i know how it feels about phones that drop easy, mine goes shooting out of my hand if i hit like a bump i didnt see or if i walk down stairs with it. I'm pretty sure there is like a conspiracy of some kind

My new iPhone 7 slipped out of my pocket whilst riding on the gondolier in L2A (France) last week.

And I'm not joking, it didn't even bounce, it just inexplicably catapulted horizontally across the floor and flew straight underneath the door, somehow avoiding like 7 people and 7 pairs of skis stood between me and the door. It did make a good crack noise as it hit the metal floor and everyone stopped talking and stood in silence whilst we all worked out what had just happened.

Must have been a good 100ft drop off onto some rocks so didn't even bother going to look for it.

That was a shit day.

My worst experience today was trying to decide what to order at kfc. I haven't been there in almost a year. There was a person in line behind me so I was rushed into making a decision. Meh, not a bad day tho

My bad days are influenced by how much money I have to pay towards unexpected expenses.

Got a virus on my laptop and had to pay $200 to fix that shit.

Ate shit while skiing and bent the shit out of my phone.

My car keeps crapping out on me.

The night I got 19 stitches and could see the bones in my hand. It impressed the ER staff for sure. But the part that pisses me off is that the bill was $1,300 with insurance. Welcome to America. Pretty shit day

Not sure what the worst day would be, but it gets pretty bad at work when I have to clean up the blood of a kid who is self harming and then smearing it all over their room. Or when a kid takes a crap and smears it all over their room.

That sucks.

Next time hit up the lost and found. If they don't have a left and a right you might be able to just wear a glove backwards on the wrong hand. Missing the night shred sounds like a huge bummer.

Lookin back my worst day was probably that one day that started with me waking up late for a college class. I arrived like 15 minutes late to find out we were taking an exam. I didn’t study for shit so I already knew I was gonna fail. I just handed a blank test to the prof and said “Yeah I’m just gonna drop the class”. So that got me feeling kinda shitty, and then after I drop the class I find out my $3500 scholarship gets revoked because of it. And then I’m just thinking all day like hmmm maybe I’ll just off myself. I go to work and deal with cranky white customers for hours on end and I get home and just lie in bed for a few hours, sulking in my depression. Then I get a wonderful text from my girlfriend of two and half years that she wants to break up with me so she can fuck other dudes. Even though she was already fuckin other dudes while we were together. And I’m just thinking, wow okay, everything is fine (everything was not fine). I then pop a few bottles of NyQuil and some other stuff I don’t remember what and was kinda expecting to pass and not wake up, but obviously I did unfortunately. So anyway, yeah that’s probably my worst day ever. Thank you.

Those things are all terrible, but think of it this way, you have a job, you have a car you have a way to ski. Sometimes a new perspective can help realize life ain't so bad. Also, someone loves you :) have a better day tomorrow and smile at someone :)

A few days ago, but I got cliffed out in the mushroom patch at WP and had to eject both skis and slide down a rock face on my butt. So I threw the skis off the cliff and I somehow manage to lose 1 ski. Either buried or slid down the mountain. I look for like 30min and give up so I ski the rest of the gnar below the chute on 1 ski. When I go back to look again, I have to ski the gnar chute on 1 ski, cliff myself out again, eject, throw ski off cliff again and start searching. Finally found it after another 30min of looking in the slough at the bottom of the chute. What a day

Wow you need to stop making your days bad for yourself. About the only thing here you had no control over was your shit getting stolen, unless you left it ripe for the taking. Not being a dick but just pointing out the obvious that you...

#1 set up a recurring magazine subscription to the most expensive magazine company ever. And forgot about it. Just call Hustler and ask for a refund. Most places are willing to work with you.

#2 speeding, I assume, and got caught because you slept in, also assuming

#3 have a shit job, because as you said more or less, that you are too lazy to get out of it

#4 perhaps left your shit out where someone could steal it, instead of locked up. Welcome to the world buddy. Don't trust people. You won't make that mistake again.

#5 have an I phone (1st mistake) and dropped it

You need to stop making days so bad for yourself :D

gridlock on highway due to accidents

get to the hill, they're avy bombing the access road

get up the access road, gotta wait for the staff to get up the gondi for over an hour and a half (I'm staff, i'm off today)

gondi finally opens at 11:15

line moves about 3 steps in 20 minutes

I go home and start drinking

I got back from a vacation in Cancun yesterday. Half way through the 4 hour flight I get sick and half to run to the bathroom to vomit every half hour. When we finally get off the plane I go to the bathroom and blow out my ass.

The TSA dude waiting to make sure the bathrooms were clear gave me and my wife a cart ride to customs. I finished my passport check and we ride down an escalator. Halfway through I frantically tell my wife to get out of the way and start running down the escalator. I throw up and manage to hold it in my mouth before getting half of it on the floor and half in a water fountain.

I was supposed to work today but spent the day at home alternating between vomiting and shitting, I would have rather worked frankly.

I'm a social worker that works in a residential program for kids with major behavioural issues that stem from severe neglect and abuse. Think of how bad it has to get and how long it has to be that bad for smearing crap on the walls to become a way of expressing your anger/frustration/fear/etc...

Despite the crap (literally and figuratively), they are awesome kids and a lot of fun to work with.

Came to work. Crushed some numbers... at 3PM the beer cart comes around and now i'm drinking beer in my office. Soon I'll leave and drink some more beer. then hit a metal show tomorrow in NYC ... then do some skiing on Monday. Life is good.

what did you expect? we need wayyy more snow before mushroom patch becomes truly skiable. were you up there on that tuesday? we hit 40 gates instead that day and it was well worth it!

Lost my heel-piece from my last pair of OG Flourescent orange FKS's today. Worst part was that it was in some gnar under sublette chair at jhole and I had to ski down on one ski in front of a 50+ person crowd. Not too bad though, got a kick out of how much of a Jerry I was.

Two years ago I had my best friend die in a helicopter crash. Couldn’t say goodbye or go to the funeral because I was on 5 minute getaway for fires on a helicopter ( I’m a wildland firefighter and 5 min usually means we’re gonna get fires that day).

Later that day when I get home from fires, I find out that my girlfriend had been cheating on me with another firefighter. That was the worse day of my life by far.
