Hereís what I have learned from skiing, and some can be applied to life.
1- Youíll never know you can do it.. until you just send it
2- If you donít even try youíre even more of a Jerry then trying and failing
3- When you fall you might just be able to get back up and try it again and again until one time out of ten you nail it!
4- If you are ever unsure, just ask! People are always willing to help and as a result you will see the progress you want
5- Use Protection, if you are like me you are prone to accidents. No matter the life scenerio itís always better to be safe than sorry!
I am just now learning new tricks on the boxes, rails, tubes, and pretty much anything you can slide on that isnít snow. I am also learning new ariels aside from 0ís and 3ís with a grab which are the only big tricks I was able to do in air.
I have always been into all mountain skiing until this season, seeing as how there is No mountain anywhere in Oregon, I naturally have been drawn to the parks. I must say itís not bad and thereís always a lot to learn. I have met many awesome people. It feels good to be a newb again, this is why I took interest in skiing in the first place, learning, meeting, and progressing.
So what are important lessons you learned from the park, or just skiing in general?
