mike myers is a comedy god. instant classic comedy. i cant remember the last time i actually laughed like that during a movie. not smirked, but laughed.

I usually hate paying so much to see movies unless there are special effects and stuff, but this movie was def. worth it. I put it right up there with Search for the Holy Grail. I suggest that you don't go see the movie without previously seen The Spy Who Shagged Me. A lot of jokes were carried over.

Am I the only one who thought it was trash? I saw it tonight and about 80% of the jokes were recycled from the second movie. The second one was great. Maybe I wasn't in the mood or something.

yeah, its true half the jokes were jokes from like 5 years ago, but if you live in bumblefuck you've never heard half of them anyways. i mean i've heard the whole sort of joke where they're like are you sure you don't have clone in you? no. would you like some? but still, the opening i was like what the fuck, then when it got through to the end of the opening i almost fell out of my chair.

well of course there are going to be some predictably jokes...it's a hollywood comedy...but that doesn't mean that it can't be funny....

the amazing part that a lot of people don't notice is that the Austin Powers movies do so much with old spy movies and even sci-fi movies...really the movies play on the history of spy films which is pretty intelligent

also the movies contain lots of mockery on american and modern society....

I thought the whole spoof on Spy Movies was kinda apparent myself. Right from the Getgo.

Truedat on the mockery of American society. But if you want a satire, don't watch a fucking blockbuster... there are much better critiques out there.

Once of the recycled 'jokes' i was expecting was a nude scene where carfully placed items covered stuff up. I mean that was in the first two why not this one? And another thing there was no transition from 2 to 3. It got boring after awhile. Then he beat up mini me and that was the best part. 2 was better though.

Saw it for a second time today... I still thought it was damn funny. 'I was adopted by a Belgian man and his 15 year old love slave with webbed feet.' There are so many stupid and ramdom jokes in that movie that most people didn't pick up. There are also a bunch of obvious advertisements in that movie (Heineken and Taco Bell immediatly come to mind), and Mini Me wears a Leafs Jersey because Mike Myers is a HUGE leafs fan..... LEAFS SUCK! GO SENS GO!

it seemed like the movie was written as it went through production. It was reaally funny at parts but most of the movie it was kinda boring.

Parts of the movie were written during production. I saw Mike Myers on Letterman, and he said that he was having so much fun filming that he kept writting new scenes just to prolong the filming.

The first is definitely the best if you have seen every bond movie. The second the was damn good too. The third however was really choppy. The opening was hilarious but the end sucked. The whole brother think was pretty stupid. Plus goldmember was pretty gay.

i thought it was so damm funny, i downloaded it onto my computer so i can watch it when i need a laugh, damm i love technology, although it has subtitles it still is pretty sweet to watch a movie at home that just went into theaters last week
