Broke my fibula talus and tibia... how long before I can ski

So July 24 I broke my fibula, talus and tibia, was in a cast and walking boot for 16 weeks before I could walk on it, then started physical therapy and got some range of motion back. My question is do you think I’ll be able to ski in January. I have 3 plates 13 screws and 5 pins in there. I love skiing so much and want to get out with my kids and teach the baby how to.

Ask your doctor. Nobody on NS is qualified to give you this kind of advice and if you go out early and screw yourself up even more you're going to be very upset with yourself.

Doctors don't know anything about health care, only stoned teens on the interwebs can help me!

Ask a doctor dude. i broke my tailbone a couple years ago, popped some Advil and went out skiing and it hurt just to sit on the chairlift

I broke my knee about a year ago and my surgeon said I was good to go a few months after surgery but I'm pretty sure he just meant sliding greens. My PT said he was very foolish to tell me that and I agree because there's no way I'm paying for a season pass or even a lift ticket without getting a lil tricky in the trees!

I dunno man considering I'm a doctor I'd say AT LEAST 2, not 1...not 3, actually maybe 3. But nah at least 2 dude. You're fucked.
