Dynafits mounted 1cm off—need to remount?

Just picked up my new skis and have found that the shop mis-measured the midpoint of the ski. They mounted one binding set ~1cm farther forward than the other. I’m new to these skis/bindings. Is this a big deal or little deal?
If it’s a big deal, any recommendations?
Skis: VoileVector, 160cm
Bindings: Dynafit Radical ST
Boots: Scarpa size 26
Any help is appreciated!

Shit at the very least the ski shop should give you a full refund
I'm not sure if the bindings would be safe... ive never had to deal with poorly mounted skis but maybe someone else on NS has?

Ya that’s bs,
Definitely go back to the shop you got them mounted at and tell them what happened. You should be able to get a refund and possibly some new skis out of it. As for if it is safe idk it might feel kinda weird.

As said above, def take them back to the shop. Explain your predicament and tell them whats up. If you're good with another mount on one of the skis, go for that. I've heard of shops buying customers new skis for a botched mount but that just depends on how anal you are on the perfection of the skis and if you think you're going to sell or remount them in the future.
As for keeping them as is, don't. The skis will still ride and turn but you will get a weird feeling from riding them mounted in different locations. Trust me, I've had skis mounted 1cm off and they were a lil funky to ride so I wouldn't recommend.

Thanks for insights. I've heard it's not that big of a deal but have also heard it will be noticeable & cause issues. Hearing experience from someone who's skied 1cm off is helpful.
I would just go test them, but that means trimming skins for a potentially botched pair of skis. Potentially botched...to remount, the new screw holes will be only a few mm from the old. Sure seems like that wouldn't be very strong, but I'm a newbie & don't know how solid the fill is. Is it an issue?
I'll take them in as suggested, but it's really helpful to have a clue first. Thanks!

Agree with everyone here that you should get the binding that is off remounted to match each other. You can re-drill a new hole as close as 7-8mm to the old hole without causing issues, so you are fine to move the binding 1cm/10mm. The old hole would be sealed and plugged with a color matching plug and should be hidden underneath the moved binding so you shouldn't see the old hole at all. A properly sealed old hole shouldn't cause any issues in the future. The shop should AT LEAST move the bindings to match each other and refund your original instal fee.
I had a place mess up both skis binding mounts this year- I had tape showing exactly where to mount the bindings with a line and arrows from a "boot center" sign and one ski was 1cm off my line and one ski was 3cm off the line. Not kidding! Had them order me new skis and then had them mount the new replacement skis with myself there checking over the process.
I once had a pair of used skis that was mounted about 1.5cm off between the two as the top sheet line must have been put on wrong from the factory. The shop must have used the factory lines to mount the bindings without using a tape measure first to check if the lines were the same between the 2 skis. I had them moved after I couldn't figure out why they skied so funny and finally put a tape measure on them to confirm they were off.
So it's not a big deal for them to move one binding and you should be refunded on your original instal for their mistake. You spent lots of money on that gear for it to not ski right like it would right now with the bindings mounted wrong.
Good luck!

That is a bummer. They can fix it but you will always have one goofball set of holes in one if the skis. That's irritating. If I had bought the skis new from that shop and this was the mountain that came with them, I would have them swapped for a different pair. Otherwise I think you just shouldn't have to pay.
