1. Yes, you can get herpes even when using a condom.

2. Even if she does have herpes (I wouldn't trust anything a cheerleader says, ever) he can't contract it unless she's got open sores when they have sex or he doesn't use a condom. Despite the fact that it's a permanent virus, in a lot of cases it's really not that bad- many people will only have one or a few breakouts and then never have them again, although they'll still be carriers for life.

Anyway, in conclusion, don't talk about shit you don't know about, and seriously, don't fuck around with shit like this.

Yeah, that's what I thought, as well. I thought it was illegal or something to mess around with someone without telling them you had an STD if you knew you had it.

Anyway, like others have already said, it's probably just the cheerleaders being gossipy bitches and trying to spread rumors just like their job description entails. Maybe one of them likes your friend, so they're all just trying to get him not to like the one girl. Who knows, but either way, he should make her get tested (and hell, even go and get tested WITH her so it doesn't really look like he's pointing a finger as much) before they do anything. Just my suggestion.
