IsitWinterYet17Some sort of solvent. Goo gone maybe? But you need some sort of cleaner because under the grips is gonna be gooey sticky stuff [insert joke here]
If the grips are rubber, and twisting them off with pliers doesn't work, light em on fire! That will melt it

eBoIf you close a door on the pole, it gives you something stronger to pull against. Poke the handle through the doorway, gently hold the door closed right by the grip with you standing on the other side and pull on the pole. I hade the same problem with some scotts but this worked no problems. Probs haven't explained that very well but i'm sure you can figure it out.
