NS name in Reality.

A few years ago when I was a ski instructor, I was given the nickname frost, or frosty. I can't really remember why at this point. But my ski mentor's name is frosty and some people called me lil' frosty. So it stuck, thus the NS name ***frost***.. Funny thing is, whenever I travel around the state to ski or go to ski movie premiers or comps. People meet me and ask; 'what's your NS name?' After a while it seems that I have more friends calling me by my NS name than my real name. I'm sure many of you can identify.

I got my screen name 3 or 4 years back when I was in taekwando. I'd always wear this white shirt to it that had a faint gray dragon on it. People started calling me the 'Ghost Dragon'. so it stuck with me.

And as far as the name recognition thing,
it has happened a few times for me. I've gone to a few different movie premieres and ran into people up in tahoe who've asked me 'Are you GhostDragon?'

I used to be a real hot dogger and I skiied without poles. Then I moved to Ottawa and started skiing with Harvey and McMahoooon they called me No Poles... it didn't take me long to switch over to using poles but they still called me No Poles. ;)

Mines derived from my last name when my friends ( a little intoxicated) forgot/were too lazy to say my whole name, dropping the Mc.

Its just stuck from there, and there are a lot of other derivations as well.

my brothers friend who lives two doors down gave me the nick name katesd (one syllable.. kate, with a 'st' sound on the end) It's pretty much the only nick name i've ever had other than things like baboon, munk, and KK, all of which are names that brothers used to call me.

My name is changed now to GLrunner06 on aim and shit, but this is what it used to be on aim before it got terminated. The GL stands for Gull Lake which is the school i run for, i run all the time haha and 13 was my favorite number, the numer is 06 on my new ones cause thats the year i graduate.

One of my many childhood nicknames. I hated Sarah so I started writing Joe Oates on my papers. Teacher took it to the principal (I was in maybe second grade), and we compromised on me writing S. Oates. Teacher started calling me Sdot, and it stuck. The nickname was dormant for quite some time (only a few people still used that or Joe), but it came back full force about a year ago.

When I was in grade 4 my family and I went to steamboat to ski. My brother and I wanted to try snowboarding. Fact: I had been skiing for many years before. Anyway my brother and I were racing down the hill went I fell and broke my wrist. I was rushed to the medical centre and after a long 6 hrs my parents showed up and we went to the hospital and the doctor called me Mattman, like batman I guess. Years later I found out that the medical bills went through the roof.
