European wanna order from USA
I just opened this topic to get some advice for overseas orders.
Saga has some really great offer at their clearance department but the shipping cost seems terrible high.
Do you have your own solutions for this problem? Actually I would order many things and splitting the bill could work but as I see the more item I order the price gets significantly higher.
there is also the border taxes ... 50$ for an order of 100$ ... -_-
We have a similar issue shipping to Australia.
I use third party companies like myus.com, priceusa.com - there are many others.
They are usually a lot cheaper than individual stores and will ship items that can only be sold in the US. You are given a shipping address in the US for the store you purchased from, to ship to. This is a depot that companies like myus.com use to then resend your purchases globally, to wherever you want.
They also let you package multiple orders from different US stores and then send them as one package to you in Europe. Some of these freight forwarding companies will even purchase items on your behalf, if you can't get around the regional shopping restrictions (i.e. Some stores will pick up the location of your IP address and block you purchasing from them).
I hope this helps.

have you used any of those services to ship anything larger like skis? when I've looked at having friends ship larger things like skis it comes out around $200...of course depends to but just wondering how those companies they compare to having a friend ship it by the cheapest way the can find
No, I haven’t sent ski's through them.
Most of them go by just the weight from memory. Have a look at their websites, it should be fairly clear how they calculate shipping before you commit to using them.
