ForcilloLocal businesses are always looking for graphic designers, looking on sites like Indeed can sometimes be a good start. Another alternative could be creating an account on something like Fiverr and start getting gigs online. Graphic design can be great for a lot of reasons, one of which is being able to send almost anything to anyone via email for free, so people will often be willing to take on more inexperienced people for tiny tiny projects, and Fiverr is great for that.
J_SDo you have any tips on fiverr as far as getting my first sale? its been about a week and I've had no luck on my 7 gigs. Im doing background removal, youtube thumbnails, geofilters, and mockups.
chrisagramsI've had some though luck on using Fiverr. Making your page look as professional as you can, by showing some example works and experiences, is very effective. Also, throwing in multiple deals in one service with quick timing is a seller, It's hard trying to get out there on Fiverr and making the service as unique as possible is key. People are always looking for the best deals.
J_SI got my first sale today, someone ordered two streaming overlays plus a source file. I did something right, because my gig has 1.3k impressions and is one of the first results.
My main goal is to come up with something that nobody else offers on fiverr.. but that's a difficult task
