Hi all. I have a pair of moment deathwishes I bought in Colorado in January. They're terrible and I'm almost out of ideas to fix them. First off one ski was incredibly hooky with factory tune. Detuning only improves it a little so I had a base grind and new edges put on in case the base wasnt flat. Immediate improvement but only about 75% of the ski it's supposed to be. Instead of hooking up it now bounces around when i really lean forward on the ski. Bought them home to nz and got another tune which is the one I usually have on my skis. Not so good. Detuned tip and tail again for less hook but still bouncy. Had someone else ski them and he made 2 turns and said fuck that. I'm unsure at this stage if one ski is just really badly made or I need to move the bindings back a cm or so. No word from moment about it so I'm a bit disappointed with that. Im a 200lb expert skier running the 184. I prefer a surfy playful ski like line MPO or atomic bentchetler both I've owned in early 180 size. Anyone Have any ideas? I'm about ready to burn them. Cheers in advance.
