Fakie on bmx

I can do fakies pretty easy, but i just cant get the momentum right. When i turn around i have already lost all my speed and that is the reason why i fail many times. Any tips ns?

How do you go into fakie? By doing a 180 or just like a footjam to fakie or what do you mean? You can always practice where its downhill to get more speed if thats the problem

I have a casette hub but i am considering getting a freecoaster hub, i usually go into the fakie by going up a quarter and then going backwards down.

I used to have a freecoaster and it feels different to fakie, there is no peadling back to keep your balance. If your getting a freecoaster, don't get the shadow raptor hub, its shit
