Heal pain (Achilles?) NS Doctor advice

So I took a spill skiing yesterday I pretty much tomahawked and my right ski ejected and ever since that crash I've had pain on the back of my ankle right above my heal, I'm guessing I strained my Achilles tendon and it hurts when I'm in my ski boots and especially when doing butters and flexing my skis..

Has anybody else had this type of injury? I can still walk fine and run when I'm not in ski boots but when I'm in ski boots and skiing it hurts and I just don't want to make it any worse, obviously going to take some time off skiing as much as I can but I'm just really afraid of doing serious damage to my heal, not really trying to experience a torn Achilles.

Go see a doc dude! Ankles are important! You don't want to end up having to go see them when it gets worse only to find out that there's nothing they can do for you because you waited too long!

Probably go to a doctor, dont take medical advice from the internet. I had a similar super super tender back of the heel (like where a raptors talon would be) that was really swollen from just doing so many 5s and nose butters. I had to take a couple weeks and not land switch to let it heal...just gave me more time to dial in some stylie grabs on sloowwwww 3s

It blows me away when Americans turn to the internet for medical advice instead of just going to see the damn doctor.

If you have insurance man - just see the doctor!

Think of it like this - would you ask a gaper how to do your first dub 7 and send it on his advice?
