Their reputation isn't so good at the moment. They will have to put a lot of work into fixing their image. Maybe an ad campaign acknowledging how crappy they were last season. Kind of like what Microsoft tried doing with Internet Explorer.

True I really like their team and I was thinking of revision for my next skis until all this shit started happening and I don't think i can buy from them now but maybe they can make a comeback

HA! If you can't even ship skis out on time (it's been 2 months since they said I would get my skis), do basic quality control or God forbid even respond to people's emails then you don't deserve to stay in buisness.

Was kinda thinking the same thing but they team is getting kinda stacked again. Charlie owens, Jacob Larsson, Scrappy Joe, etc. Think they could maybe become what revision was/is over the next few years.

I think they should be more worried about getting everyone who ordered their skis to them. ordered mine the second day of the presale (August 2nd). the order was "complete" Feb 23 (meaning they're ready to ship) and haven't received an email since. I've tried to contact them 4 times, and once to Bill Wanrooy directly. I've lost out on the majority of the season because my current skis are almost destroyed. So I think I can safely say that for me, and probably almost everyone else in my situation with Revision, we'll never buy their products again.

They just need to drop some actual content. I know it's easier said then done but even in separate locations they could fuse a small team edit together with the riders linking up with local filmers. Some quick insta clips every couple weeks isn't gonna cut it. And I love each one of those cats' styles so I just want to see more! Charlie Owens is the man

They fucked up. Even worse than the lack of contact and legendary-status shit customer service is after shipping some orders, they conveniently left out return addresses and made damn sure to limit the breadcrumb trail back to themselves. It basically said to me "oh our skis suck and we are fully aware."

It will be hard but i think these trust fund babies that run the show need to fuck off and get out of skiing.

Revision is on life support. Probably in a coma since they stopped replying. If they do come back they should make the skis themselves on location for quality reasons. However since ordering skis on august third and never recieving them and resorting to my bank refunding me and missing out on numerous pow days and having zero contact with any of us i can certainly say that they are dead to me.

I wouldn't call them back quite yet - plus, at least they always delivered their skis on time, even though they weren't the best quality.

Revision is going to have a VERY hard time to come back from this. I mean it's mid-March now and there's still people who haven't gotten skis they ordered 6 months ago. It's going to be hard to pull back from that. But, if they did, it would be the greatest comeback since Rocky.

Nope.
But i do think that if you get a shit set you know right away. Then you dont end up mass produce and ship by boat across an ocean just to find out it's shit and ship it back to get redone and take almost the whole season to get it right while customers are furious.

i have a pair of talismans that im really fond of, but they fucked up big time. shit happens, maybe the sourcing problem wasn't their fault, but the way theyve handled it like cowards and not been in contact with people that paid them up to 6 months ago is unforgivable

unfortunately they deserve to go

They'll never recover from this strong distrust within the Newschoolers and skiing community. Once a consumer loses trust, it is an almost irreversible process. It's only a matter of time until they go under, just like Epic Planks, Boone, and Batalla.
