Next Level of Tricks

Hey guys just a couple quick questions!!

1. I am able to slide basic rails and do 180's 360's Grabs etc... What are some easier "progressive tricks" I should learn next?
2. I am having trouble with longer rails or rails that have kinks/downs in them. For example I am unable to get a double drop rail at my local park. Is there any tips or useful information you have?
3. Summer is fast a approaching and I am curious how can I work on free style skiing outside of setting up a big ramp in my backyard? Is there any work outs that I can do to help build strength in the muscles used the most? Is there a activity that helps gain better balance or anything you guys do to not get as "rusty" and to be able to keep working on my skills when there is now snow?
4. At the moments I have landed a couple front side switch ups and 270's off, but not a lot. Any Advice for me on those tricks? Also is there any other rail tricks I should work on like switch on or 270 on?

you literally named all the tricks you should go for. but most importantly just do the tricks you want to do

for summer you can do jumps into water or on a trampoline. also good core strength is important in every sport. just do some ab exercises and maybe legs since they're used the most in skiing

even though you don't want to think about doing a summer setup. on rails with kinks bend your knees more and absorb the kink. youll feel how much easier it is when you ben your knees and just focus on completing it. Learn to pedal with your feet more that will help you on longer rails. Just try hitting shorter rails straight on, straight off over and over until you get it perfect then take it to a bigger rail or try a spin off or swap. for me ride on rails were much easier at first and it helped me learn rails, but now i think urban on is much easier so you can try doing both and figure out which is better.

Go skateboarding in the summer. Helps with your balance, agility and flow.

Keep taking your spins further (540s, 720s, etc), add grabs and once you're comfortable and confident, start learning flips and corks. When it comes to the rails, try spins in, on and off of them. Don't be afraid to get creative, that's what makes skiing fun!

Practice skiing switch and hitting small jumps switch (switch 180). Get those fundamentals down first and you'll be progressing super fast. Also, take up longboarding in the summer, I like to practice switch ups and 3's while riding on the longboard and then landing back on it. Helps a lot with balance too.

Problems I had with more tech rails was not enough speed and not looking at the end of the rail. Once I did those it got way easier

Also, what helped me was committing my shoulders to be parallel with the rail. Not only is it functional, it adds style so you don't look like your doing a 50-50 with your torso.
