First off i have to say the show is absolute shit, it is horrible, and the only thing funny about it is how pathetic the show is

Anyone still watch it?

the last time i watched the show was in 2009, and even back then the show was going downhill

what kind of "inspired" me to make this thread was overhearing a few goobers on the chairlift talk about how funny and awesome the show is

i mean the show caters to the lowest level of humor , like below surface level shit

the show just uses the same unfunny shit over and over and over: and PS using fuck, shit , and Jew a thousand times doesn't make the show better

id feel really really stupid and embarrassed telling someone that south park is still funny or even admitting that i watch the show

Why you so triggered, little snowflake?

The latest seasons have been pretty shitty though imo, the lengthy, intertwining plots don't make good narrative, the characters have been played out, it seems matt and trey can't keep up with the change in comedic culture, honestly.

I did love Gerald this past season though. The trolling montage with Boston is fucking golden.

We'll see if they redeem themselves, but I've been saying that for a few seasons now...

Lol I guess South Park somehow ruined your life. New episodes suck ass but old ones are gold, I enjoy watching it because I'm not stuck up and act like I'm too mature for it.

I thought the last season was great. Maybe youre not very up to speed on current topics, but south park nails it every show.

It's definetly funny in a political sense now, I just still couldn't laugh at the new ones I've watched. It was a lot funnier when they made fun of celebrities and the boys just did random shit.

It's my favorite show on television. You're just a nerd. Cartman's anti semitism will always be funny. Some of the best satirical social commentary out there. I agree the last two seasons have been sub-par but still some absolute gems in there. Plus they say what millions of people are thinking about current political/cultural events every week and they are always right on.

South Park is like a young comic that is just starting to get into the business . That's the level and quality of comedy it is

I like very filthy humor that's done right

Christ kid, stop taking things so seriously, I bet you get angry at pretty much every individuals likes and dislikes if they're not similar to your own, stop that. I dont know about y'all but my absolute favorite episodes are the episodes like Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo, or Major Boobage, or Red Sleigh Down, that are just plain hilarious, no political message, no message to anyone, just Kenny getting high as shit off cat piss and seeing a warrior woman with giant tits. God that gets me everytime, I can definitely say I've seen every single episode of south park, many more than once, and they all will make me laugh my ass off, everytime. (well kinda up to season 16 for me, havnt really seen past that though)

I mean if it's any constellation I hate American dad and futurama which my brother finds bizarre considering I like family guy, South Park, and the Simpsons.

Yeah and I mean it's usually pretty apparent. I wouldn't say it's low level humor but they definitely don't make any veiled attempts. Very few SP jokes have gone over my head, the ones that do are usually a specific reference to a person whom I have never heard of.

i just dont find it at all funny, its ok in parts but i just cant watch it. family guy, simpsons, king of the hill, and south park are all funny too me but futurama and especially american dad i just dont like.

Family guy is kind of funny in a “look how ridiculous we can be” sort of way. Like the jaded alcoholic dog and the evil scientist baby. Its funny but its not easily relatable to like southpark is.
southpark is a million times more relevant to american culture than fg is, and at its best moments is alot funnier.

trey and matt despise family guy humor in their cartoon wars episodes, which was supposed to be made into a movie but they apparently decided not to.

i dont have any dislike of family guy but objectively south parks humor hits a much more elusive target imo.

South Park is getting better imo, I actually enjoy the serialized seasons, and although the new more political comedy loses some of the original audience South Park's jokes are getting increasingly cunning.

It's funny how it took me to the age of 25 to appreciate this show. They really do it so well making fun of current events. When your country is a joke at least you can laugh at it via cartoon.
