leduc_s8New to this forum... hey to everyone!!
Practicing skiing switch on the same side without alternating shoulders.
Speedcheck side is ok. I'm having problem with the opposite side. It keeps going straight no matter what. I feel contortioned.
Extra-turning tips, anyone??
Thanks!!
One piece of advice for skiing switch that really helps is pretty simple - practice it constantly.
I dont just mean on the Inrun of a jump either - I'm talking like take half your day when you first start, go back to the easy green runs and ski switch from ten feet off the top of the chair down to the lift line.
If you can't do that, literally start on the magic carpet.
I remember one of my High North coaches way back (might have been Turpin) saying "Can't ski switch? Can't jump switch."
Often people only practice on in runs to jumps or cat tracks in transit. Do full runs a couple of times per day you ski for like minimum 2-3 seasons straight and you'll be an absolute switch master.
