Idk, some of the non Punk punk, but still sort of a raw vibe. 30 foot fall never went anywhere. Yellowcard got far more poppy but I still love them.

Ahaha no. I kind of got a little carried away. But I do tend to listen to older dirty heads, Tigers jaw, brand new etc. together and I added those so I had to add dirty heads. Definitely a little off there but oh well hahaha.

This is all mostly mainstream punk or a variant thereof. There's a super dope movie "CBGB" on netflix that's about the earliest "punk" bands. Punk at it's core is a super loose definition and spotify has so much punk stuff that it's going to take a long time to get through it.

See if there are any punk/metal oriented record shops near you. They'll have tons of local stuff if there's a scene where you live

I'm more of a metal person and my roommate is more of a pop punk fan and we found a middle ground of beatdown hardcore tunes for when we are stuck together in the car, here's an incredibly short list until I can get back on my spotify

I'm seeing them next month but as for harder stuff, some of the recent shows I've been to have been fit for an autopsy, acacia strain, ion dissonance, great american ghost, and going to see unearth on Wednesday. Love nails as well

Acacia was one of the first heavy bands I've listened to. Never really dug their "we like to hate everything" vibe, but they're still tough. I don't go to many shows anymore, but the last one I went before knocked loose was a BANGER. Harms way, the beautiful ones and eternal sleep.

Heavy music for me anymore is primarily just gym music when I lift heavy. Once you squat to harms way or king nine, there's no going back haha.

Figured I'd post in here instead of creating a new thread. I'm a big rap guy, but I've found a few punk rock type tracks recently that have gotten me pretty hyped. Looking for some new recommendations based on what I've found that I like. Again not really my typical genre so this might be all over the place, but here are the bands/songs I like.

OCCY - weak bones (dont really know what genre this is)
Entrance - pretty baby
Royal Blood - out of the black
Foals - inhaler

For sure. Those games were the best. One of the games that really killed it on gameplay as well as soundtrack.

I used to jam out superman on my trumpet when I was younger. That song and the game are forever merged in my memories.
