Candide 2.0 Sizing

Thinking about getting the Candide 2.0

5'8", 150lbs, advanced skier looking to ski 60/40 park vs. groomers and trees in the East.

Do I want a 172 or a 178?

I meant to say 60/40 groomers vs. park. Spending a little more time around the mountain

It doesnt matter just always get the bigger size. If you dont like them you can return them or sell or trade

It's a life changing ski... Rips everywhere and yes go for the longer length 178!

I also ordered a pair but in 184cm. I know the 2.0 is a symmetrical ski (135-102-135) but I'm wondering where ya'll would recommend I mount them.

I'd estimate I'll be using them for about 65% park 35% All mountain/pow.

I have a pair of k2 obsetheds from a few years back that's a 105 underfoot, but not sure I'll want to carry those around in addition to the candids when I'm travelling for the rare chance of a pow day.

Suggestions?

mount after the recommended -2cm from dead. You don't really notice in the park, but it just makes them that little bit more at home when skiing the whole mountain

Faction recommends skiing your height. First time I've heard that I shouldn't size up. Any thoughts?

I'm 5'9, 170 lbs, and I spend about the same time around the mountain and in the park, which is steamboat. This will be my second season with the 2.0 in the 178 size and i love it. It handles any type of riding I feel like that day, even does pretty well in a good amount of deep snow. I would go with the longer ski. Whenever you pick them up you won't regret the purchase
