.frenchyit's a gift from god
Dennis_ReynoIdsI'm sure ur di and admissions would have loved to hear that
theabortionatorIf marijuana wasn't bad, my son would still be here. Think about that
.frenchyyou don't know what you're talking about :/
Dennis_ReynoIdsthat's a fair point, but just because i dont know anything about it doesnt exclude me from being an expert
i think
Gods_FatherK but the study says it doesn't cause lung cancer so that's not one of the side effects haha.
Hugh_Conway_jras you come to understand the world of research more, you will learn to not rely solely on the merits of a single paper.
Gods_I FatherAfter researching, have you found any people who got lung cancer from smoking cannabis?
californiagrownAfter researching, have you found any large scale, controlled studies showing weed smoke does not cause cancer as every other smoke does?
Hugh_Conway_jrNo. I don't beleive there any that actually exist.
Its impossible to draw conclusions related to the long term health effects of cannabis form the available body of literature. the vast majority of the studies have major flaws inherent in their design.
I would be as suspicious of a paper that would be so bold as to conclude that cannabis is unable to cause cancer.
Remember, there are papers out there that say cigarette smoke is safe. Thalidomide is safe. Oxycontin is safe. Vioxx is safe. All these have eventually been disproven. It takes a while for the literature body to grow to support a conclusion one way or another, and due to the lack of funding and lack of rigour in cannabis related studies, I put very little weight behind them.
If we simply focus on the patho (without a direct focus on cannabis), there is enough scientific evidence to tell uis that Products of incomplete combustion --> Un-burnt hydrocarbons --> free radicals---> disease process.

Gods_FatherAgreed, every decade things we thought were fact are proven to be completely wrong....buttttt I just can't believe that smoking cannabis causes lung cancer, wiz Khalifa and snoop would be dead. I would argue that chemicals that have been sprayed on the cannabis could cause cancer though.

Lé.SkiingSearch for "Cannabis kill cancer cells".

There's your reputable source to anyone saying cannabis can still cause cancer.
If you smoke cannabis you're less likely to get cancer than someone who doesn't smoke. Which I get is fucked and doesn't seem like it makes sense, but it's just facts...
Personally I would prefer vaping or dab pen, but apparently the best thing is to eat the raw untreated plant.
