Roommate Trouble

So I am a freshman in college and lately I've been having some roommate trouble. So my roommate and I got along fine for the first couple weeks, and then he started to get weird. He broke up with his girlfriend over the summer and then during the first week of school, he had sex with a chick and left a big stain on his futon and blamed my girlfriend and I for it to his ex (who are now dating again). He also has lied to her about many other things like cheating on her, and making out with other girls. Also, this last weekend he wanted her over but I said no because I had an exam the next week. He then texted me and told me that I wasn't allowed back in the room and to find somewhere else to sleep. I want to tell his girlfriend all of this but I have to live with him for the rest of the year. I'm at a loss here.


TL;DR My roommate is a dick and I want to expose him to his girlfriend because he roped me into it and I didn't want to be.

I've tried telling him that he needs to tell her that it wasn't me but he won't. So you're saying basically I should just go ahead and tell his girlfriend?

Well first off, if your roomate says you aren't aloud in your room tell him to fuck off. If he continues go up the chain as needed. That's your home as well, he can't tell you you can't sleep in your room.

If it gets really wild document as much as needed. Dates and what's going on. If you think it might end in some weird shit storm. That said for roomate stuff I don't really see that as necessary but if it it's really that bad or makes you feel better.

Idk. I would say, do a couple shots if needed and just lay it down. Tell him to fuck off about the couch, tell him to stop talking to your girlfriend, hitting on her, lying to her or whatever. You don't have to be a dick, but make sure he knows you're serious. Basically that it isn't cool to fuck with your world, you don't care what his problems are but don't fuck with you.

Mention the problems to your RA or whoever.

Idk. It seems like everyone has some problems at the beginning. You're freshman, it's the beginning of the year. This is a big transition for you, you're in a new place, you just met each other, and now you're in each others space all the time.

Honestly it's not seamless 24/7 for most people, especially at the start. Hang in there and you'll survive.

The answer has been in front of you all along, tell him he's being a dick and then just blackmail him

No joke, he owed a lot of money to a drug dealer. Kid got mugged with bunch of drugs he was either supposed to sell or deliver (didnt ask too many questions). He lost all the drugs, was texting friends he was going to kill himself because they were basically going to kill him slowly and painfully. His friends came to our door screaming and banging to let them in. We did and they got in and apparently stopped him.

Thinking about it now, the "friends" could have been the drug dealers guys. We never met any of his friends before that day.
