Getting skis that are sold out

I recently slept on the vishnu skis pre order and now they are sold out- i currently have the faction 1.0s but i know ill bust through those bitches in about 2 months so i want another pair ready and im looking at the vishnu 183s- is there any way to cop them or are they simply online only

if not im looking at the HG skis subway transfer or Revision Talisman
what do you think of those skis?

idk about vishnu but revision ordered some extras last year when they did their production run that they started selling in november

Email the manufacturer. Tell them your son story and see if they have any extras laying around, or ask if you can grab a pair should someone cancel their order. Maybe you can pay for a preproduction 2018 model?

Basically ask them what you can do to get on a pair of their sticks. Youd be surprised what happens if you simply ask.

thanks for the good response, thats true out simply asking- atleast with small brands. I contacted tree fort life styles about my suspenders falling apart and they replied right away and offered me a sweet deal.

they're ordering more. no way they'd sell out before the season starts and never make another production run. just be patient

This is confirmed. Just mounted mine up but havent skied on them yet. The edges are really fat and i like the rocker. should be fun to butter around on

lol this is retarded. no small startup is ever going to order more than they can guarantee will sell in their first production run of the year. that's how small companies go under quickly. but if you'd rather support a big-box company that doesn't give a shit about you and will never listen to your plea for a warranty, go right ahead

whats the benifit of rocker vs camber? i know the stinger is a camber park ski

.otto.whats the benifit of rocker vs camber? i know the stinger is a camber park ski


camber makes a ski snappy, rocker makes a ski buttery. the balance between stiff camber and soft rocker is what gives a ski its personality. the vishnu wet is supposed to be stiff and responsive underfoot, and extra soft at the ends for those huge butters

178 is a very good size to accommodate most people who would look into this company (not a 12 year old), so instead of making 182 and 176, you compromise at 178.

I got Atomic Backlands this summer before they were released bc my gf went straight to the manufacturer, was able to get hooked up with a dude at the wearhouse where they were had an extra pair for pros who were traveling to the Southern hemisphere.

Go straight there. Skip the ski shop.

Im 6' flat and they dont feel small at all. I mainly do rails though.

HG was making skis at that factory since 2011 I believe, maybe 2010. J started in 2013. HG went with a ski they had been pressing themselves and just transitioned to having the factory for production. I don't suspect they or J went with existing molds at the factory.

lol I love you guys asked wabs, costas and 40 if they had some old 183 wets lying around I could get for cheap but they either didn't have any or didn't get back to me. Looking to finish ou the season on some wets can you guys help me out? Even if they are 177 where could I find some.
