Hi there !

I was thinking about starting video blog serie about my every day as a skier, a vlog. It is just like a weekly video serie with some day in life stuff and also skiing and some special things people ask to try in skiing that they would not dare to do themselves !

I was wondering if anybody is interested in this kind of edits or is it lame af ?

theres a fine line with vlogging between interesting content and just doing weird clickbait videos

I'd look to skateboarding for some inspiration. Lots of skate bloggers have been popping up on my youtube feed and most of them might have something interesting for a few minutes per video then the rest is pretty boring/cringeworthy

for starters trying to do daily videos is just setting yourself up to make boring content and get exhausted quickly

my idea was actually to do weekly videos, cuz I know keeping the videos attractive on a daily basis is nearly impossible. And yeah I was also inspired by these vlogs skateboarders do on youtube and I was thinking of something likely but with less speaking and more action as we are used to in freeeskiing

Vlogging is huge on youtube right now but in order to be interesting and keep the attention of your audience, you gotta be able to tell an interesting story in each vlog, or at least make it seem like you did something interesting/exciting during the day or the week. I personally like these kind of videos, but too many times they're just too long and get boring.

When done right vlogs are super interesting but alot of them turn to shit after a while. The thought of talking into a camera weirds me out though.

I cant watch kids like Lamont Holt or Garret Ginner, only watch the skating otherwise I leave. I always fall for the clickbait thoughfor random ass vloggers like that rich prick movlogs in dubai, so many cringeworthy vloggers that I watch and give more views too it sucks

you either need to be a pro skier or already famous before making a blog that doesn't suck. A weekly ski edit type thing would be cool though if it was done correctly

I watch his sometimes... But they're very slow and can be boring sometimes. When he does cool car shit its good to watch but his day to day is just going to the store with his model wife and friend who films
