A trail running video I've been working on!

Hey NS,

For about a year now I have been filming a trail running video about Hong Kong. If you didn't know HK is known for its crazy skyline a busting city life. However what most people dont realise s that HK is also home to a lot of country parks. This video is to show trail running in HK but also to show that HK has a lot more to offer than what is seems from the outside. It's taken so long to film, mainly because if anyone knows much about HK... its not very clear due to pollution from China. So we spent a long time waiting for the perfect weather and time it in with both our schedules.

Damn that was really nice. Really enjoyed the audio you incorporated, however I think much more of it would be even better.

That was really really good! One thing I would change though is make it about 2-3 minutes instead of 4. It got repetitive after a while. I loved it though besides that

Lots of really beautiful shots, I thought it was great. Only advice would be less cutting to the beat of the music and more cutting to show exactly what you want from one specific shot and nothing more or less. Thought those on-the-beat cuts were nice around 2:30 but should have changed tempo after about 15 seconds. Thought it was pretty good in length, maybe if it were closer to 3 minutes it would be easier for some people to watch. Also thought that your sound was perfect, I disagree with the comment there should have been more, I think subtlety in sound is key. Nailed it.

I really liked that. The intro was great and intriguing. Great shots! The sound design was perfect: subtle, natural and effective. Great work!

I would say the edit lacked pacing. My attention was lost right after the trail running started. I would have love to see the pacing change and ramp up to a little more action. It would be great to see a little more hectic fast pacing resembling trail running more.

Overall killer work my man! Keep it up!

some really nice shots in there! i really liked that. i agree with j-cal though. i started to lose interest after the running began. what are you shooting with?
