i dont really see any racers in the park but people that dont no wut they r doin go off the lips to rails or off the side of actual jumps

I was gonna hit the rails at my hill the other day but the fuckin tranies were all fucked up from little kids and racers going off the sides, made them all messed up.

a group of little kids led by some old turn came in yesterday and they hit every single rail kicker off to the side...I called them all fuckers...stupid idiots

I found out that 14 yearold snowboarders give you shit if you wear a race suit in the park. I wore one with my friends just to mess around and people where staring at me like I was a Mexican or something.

yesterday I spent 5 hours with my friend building up a nice jump at our hill. then today i drove by and saw these little kids climbing on it like a fucking jungle gym! I was about to chop their heads off buy my mom was like 'just calm down and ask them nicely' so i went out and told them that they needed to get off because i spent a long time building it and they were messing it up. the kid started whining but he did get off.

yeah i hate when little kids hit the lips for rails and screw everything up. but i hate it worse when a snowboarder pretends like hes going to hit a rail and then he stops really fast and totally fucks the lip up. thats the worst. or when you pull something sick but when you come down to land theres someone standing in the way so you fall.

the other day i was at the hill and they just got the park together and all day it was constant kids with parents and racers comign in, finally we talked politely to the racers and the instructor who was bringing them in there and asked them not to come in again but they kept on coming in. the worst they were just making the landing and goin off the lip of the jump onto the rails, they were also jumping off the side of the jumps, but the thing is when they are practising they get a big closed run sign why cant we get one

Today there were about 15 people from the hill's race team in the park and they were all standing across the slope blocking the inrun to one of the jumps. I was on the lift with my friend and my friend yells 'thats a terrain park not a fuckin racecourse' and this one toughguy racer yells 'if you come down here you will be in a world of pain'. We just laughed at him.

omg dont get me started after this weekend at loon mtn they need to get a pass system where u have to watch a 15 minute movie cuz i swear to god no lie i jumped over 8 lil kids today then got yelled at by the parents cuz i went over them then i had to curse them to shit cuz there like 4 year olds cant ski and they come in the park and almost get killed ahhhhhh

hhmmm i don't know what kind of racers you guys have at your mountains but all the guys that raced when i did could go bigger then any other skier or boarder in the park. Most are now racing for colleges, on the us team or skiing nor-am's. Next time you want to make a post bashing someone on ski's, make sure you can ski better then them. I will admit that most of the racers i've seen here in tahoe, are pretty lacking on the skillz for skiing in general but thats not the case back in my home country of oregon.

i have a problem wit hkids being in the park out of safty concerns. people think as long as they dont slide rails or clear booters, its not dangerous to be in there. when, in fact, its can be more dangerous. see the problem is, a kid is gonna be hit and killed cause some stupid parent let their 4 yr old in the park. the skier is gonna get in trouble, and the ski industry is gonna suffer. wr are in a horrible situation right now and are standing on a land mine.

I have no issue with the people who go into the park...to actually do something constructive..or to watch off to the side..but those who go off the sides of jumps...stand on transitions...etc....its just not needed...do you think if we went over to the gates while they were running them...they would welcome us with open arms and be like ...cool ...some kid with twins is standing in our precious gates....I doubt it...i'm guessing that they would have major issues..or say if we stood across the most popular green trail...9 or 10 wide...so no 1 coud go down...would the beginner skiers and snowboarders would be happy?...i'm guessing ...not today junior...its all about respect...something that there is little of in this world...the whole situation is kind of sad

Yes, its true nearly all the top skiers started out in some other sort of organized compition...

tanner was a bumper for romark academy...I spelt that wrong. Glen plake was a racer turned bumper and so on...

But yes, most people in the park don't belong there, i think it should be park crews job to inforce safety, not just maintaining the hits and jibs..Such as not letting people rest on landings or other blind spots. I hit a young 14ish year old kid while air-borne last year on a 65+ foot hip that i was going over the top of...it hurt. It's the people that the X-games and everything else mainstream that brings all the idiots to the hill. California skiing on the weekend is a nightmare, it's like a different country...

no way. racers are skiers, and I think it's awesome that they have interest in the park as well and want to try things. I am completely jealous because most racers can ski damn good and have been taught properly how to ski.

I've been self-taught and it's been a constant struggle to break bad habits and ski better

There's very few pro's perhaps with the exception of a few jibbers who were not racers of some disipline at some point. Seth morrison for instance was a very accomplished racer. Racing teaches you how to ski properly and I wish I had done it when I was younger.

i used to race and I lent my GS suit to my friend who wore it into the park and pretended to be really bad and then busted out corked 7s and mistys and stuff. It was hilarious because everyone was getting all annoyed at first.
