So this is my first post on NS. I'm a epicski member but felt your guys could help me better with this one.
About me: 6 foot, 135 lb naked(super skinny). My home mountain is Snowbasin Utah. I'm a advanced/expert skier, I like to ski smoothly hitting airs bounding through powder, and carving fast groomers.
I'm looking for a ski that I take on the non powder days. I currently have some Rossi soul 7's that have been great for jumping off of stuff, slashing through the pow, and throwing some spins while still being able to go fast through some rougher stuff. I want to be able to carve well on groomers (no jittery noodles please), take the several day old wind scorched and moguls better than my souls, and has some pop and a light swing weight for jibbing off of stuff i find around the mountain. I also want a twin tip for switch landings.
I've demoed the 181 Rossignol Slat, and the Kitten Factory Razyrblades. I liked the slats but I only hit park kickers, and groomers that day so I'm unsure how they handle on rough stuff and moguls. The Razyrblades felt like they didnt want to carve, just slide around and hit jumps. I think the sodecit wasn't deep enough for my taste.
I'm thinking a ski 85-100 underfoot, twin tipped, lots of camber, fairly stiff, with a sidecut around 17-20m in a 170-180 length would be great. I won't be hitting many rails, only jumps.
