Is skiing ahead of it's time?

Okay, hear me out here. Watching figure skating (i know.) but I have no seen an unnatural spins. Is the future 'unnatty spins' and other sports just aren't with the times? It's like if I was a judge and I saw an anything unNatty points would go sky high, these girls don't know what tech is.

that's a really good point actually. unnatural spins in sports like figure skating and gymnastics are not rewarded. And once those sports start to push the limits of what is possible (I mean you can only jump so high on skates) then it would not surprise me for the sport to start awarding added difficulty through unnatural spins. So yes, I'd say skiing/boarding is definitely ahead of the curve on this.

i've been trying to push the penguin slide and other flatground tricks in figure skating for years yet no one has batted an eye.
