snow camping.

On Friday night I went winter camping with 4 freinds. It was about -25 with a wind chill. We were way under prepared. We hiked in a state park up over a series of hills to a sick lookout point. (about 8 miles in) then we set up camp in the dark. After we got set up we started drinking. After we drank we were runnign around the woods in the dark. I slept in a skimpy tent, It was like one of those tents you see on the beach. It let alot of cold air in and sucked. I slept in everything I wore so when I got up and out of the tent in the mornign I was freezing. That was the worst part. I noticed my toes and fingers went into the first stages of frost bite. and I was wearing layers. This other kid we went with didn't even have gloves. anyone else go camping this time of year?

snow camping is awesome. sleeping naked in a good like 0º sleeping bag is nice and toasty. my tent, which is a 4 season expedition, is super for snow and cold and stuff. only promblem is everything gets damp for breathing and cold that isnt in a bag or in the sleeping bag. but its so calm in the snow, its just great

yeah in the middle of the night we were yelling shit like WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING HERE? WHOS IDEA WAS THIS? but it worked out, im glad I went. The main problem was my tent, The one I slept in I was borrowing. I would have used my nice EMS four season tent but the poles were in the back of my brothers truck and my brother was in boston.

some dumb shit was camping on a lake near my house for like 3 weeks, i think he is homeless cuz he drives a moped and is all scruffy and shit

i slept in a snowcave once... not too comfy... cool to say ive done it before now.. .but i dont know if i would do it again
