WhatisCaillouI'm looking at getting a new pair of skis this year and no matter what I see I keep getting drawn back to the line future spins. The only problem I have right now is that they might me too flexy. I'm 6'1 170lbs does anyone who knows about them/rides them have any input? Thanks.
SnocrummySteezI have a brand new pair of Icelantic Da'Nollies I would sell you for pretty cheap if you want. They are a few seasons old but have never been ridden and are still in the plastic.

jonogarskiwhat size
ttelrabnot sure why you'd want the future spins out of all skis on the market, but if you are looking for something soft the danollies, edollos, are sweet skis
NegromancerShould be fine as long as you get the right size, 181cm would be good for you. LJ Strenio who is a fairly big dude hits huge features on them.
If you're looking for something around the 80mm to 90mm width and that's soft to medium flex you should also consider Armada THalls, Atomic Punx, and Moment Vice they're all good skis with similar profiles to the Future Spins but they should be just a little bit stiffer/firmer then the Future Spins.
poofartpeemy bud rides a pair hes about 5'9 180lbs i believe, he snapped his first pair buttering in the lift line but hasnt broken his warranty pair yet
WhatisCaillouWould the length matter that much? I was looking at the 174's

NegromancerDefinitely do not get the 174's because you'll overpower them and end up washing out on landings and getting speed jitters. Lines also tend to be shorter then they actually are listed as (I think they measure the length of the ski before they shape it) so 174cm may actually end up being more around the ~170cm mark. I'm 5'7 and ski a 176cm AR7 just to give you an idea.
How hard do you ski and what features do you hit most?
If you spend most of your time just playing around hitting small - medium sized features and doing butters then the Future Spins will be fine perfectly fine.
If you're an aggressive skier who likes hitting the biggest jumps and features in the park and doing crazy shit then you may want to look at something that's a bit firmer.
WhatisCaillouI ski quite hard on the groomers but am just getting used to park, for reference my 2014 k2 sights chatter occasionally but that's probably the conditions. Would you still say it's a good idea? Also my weight is going to go up to the 180 range in the winter.
NegromancerYou'll be fine, again it just comes down to what you want, if you want a playful, buttery, and soft ski then go for the Future Spins. If you want something you can haul ass on and go huge on then you'd probably want to look at getting something stiffer.
