eheathI'd say just move around a bunch, figure out what you like best, get lots of good close up details at 60p, etc.
zsturtevantClose ups are a must. A shot I really like, if you have the room, is set up just off the corner and get an almost over the shoulder type shot of 3's. When panning from the floor give yourself room in front and focus on the ball more than the player. Watch an NBA game and get some ideas!
thanks for the ideas, i got some decent shots today unfurtanltly, the bar to my tripod broke in the middle of the game so some of its hand held but not TOO shakey. ill post a little peak at what I got in a littl bit. Next week the team has some mor games and hope fully my new tripod head should be here by then!
