Need help buying ski boots

So i ski park. Im around 5"8 and 130lbs. I currently have salomon focus boots that have killed my heels. They do not have enough padding. I feel comfortable hitting bigger jumps and rails and doing spins and backflips and plan on working on going off axis this year.

So heres the question

I really need new boots because these ones hurt my heels. Im debating between buying the nordica ace 2s and salomon ghost fs 100s. Are those good boots? And what boots do you recommend whether its between the two or not?

best advice anyone will give you is to go to your local ski shop and get your boot fitted.

Definitely go to a shop and get fitted. Try on a lot of pairs until you find a boot that fits you well.

Alright ill do that... thanks, but i was more or less wondering if those boots would have good padding and stuff and just peoples opinions

Any bootfitter worth his/her salt should be able to add padding to the heel without you needing to buy a whole new boot...

Ill look into that... ididnt know that was possible but i do need new boots regardless... im riding beginner all mountain boots and im riding on atomic punx and these boots just dont do the trick anymore

The Salomon Focus is the same exact mold as the original SPK (without the stretch toe). This goes to show you how important the right boot is for your feet (as many have already said) and that you should also get supportive footbeds in addition to new ski boots. Footbeds do many helpful things for making the fit of the boot awesome, but in your instance they also provide more "cushioning" by placing your foot in its natural, strong state. Get the right boots (don't assume "park" boots will be the best option), get footbeds, and then if that doesn't perfectly work for you, have your boot-fitter add foam to certain parts of the liner to create more shock absorption.
