Age When Pros Started Skiing

So apparently Noah Wallace started skiing when he was 13. It seems crazy to me that he could get this good in 11 years(He's 24 now).

So I'm wondering, when did other pros start skiing? I would think they all started at a very young age.

It's all about the level you surround yourself with. I started djing in the year 2000 , got good quick and within a year was opening up for world traveling pros. Back in the vinyl only days before CDs and controllers got big. Opening for these guys gave me a huge inspiration and insight to the level of professionalism out there . Being a pro at anything takes marketability also and politics play a huge role too.

It's not about the age, it's about the mindset. People can progress to pro level in 2-3 years with the right attitude and avoiding injury.

100% this. Ive been skiing for about 5 years now but this is the first season ive really had an aggressive mindset towards it and Ive already almost doubled my bag of tricks just in early season. its all a mental game

I started around 7-8 years ago but most of that was just cruising the groomers. I didn't really start taking skiing seriously until around 3 seasons ago.

what makes people pro, pro in skiing anyways? like i understand youre not sammy carlson and have non skiing jobs but your face is on a van and some skis so if your not pro im confused
