If you have the money go for it! Have a bunch of rad friends from CVA and other ski schools. But, when in coaching remember your doing it for fun! Skiing is just skiing keep it fun and progression will come!
I went to Gould. Worth every penny (that your parents will be paying). The fact that you get to ski is obviously dope, but the people you meet are all really cool with really diverse backgrounds and you have great teachers that actually care about your success. I had way more fun than I would have at public school and they actually got me to care way more about my education too. If you have any more questions about the place feel free to ask.
Any form of private lesson is going to help you progress a lot faster than you would on your own. For some people its worth the money but for others its better to just progress on their own. Really its your call man!
If you don't have to pay to go 100% go to it. So worth it just for the experience of meeting people and skiing a ton. Check out some west coast schools.
"You put on your boots, click into your bindings, dust the snow off your skis, and head out for the chair, and it doesn't matter that you failed a test, didn't get the girl, or that your life is on a one way trip down the shitter, your world is right for the next couple of hours."
