eheathFirst off, its way too long. Cut that same content down to a minute, if I was recruiting/hiring a filmmaker I would've stopped watching after 30 seconds, it was so slow and underwhelming.
You need to go through this video and really cut out over half the shots ie the kid hitting the air bag, or the shot of the girl news report and the horizon wasnt level, or people in an auditorum doing a presentation, etc. Sorry dude but those are not reel worthy clips.
Also if you have to use warp stabilizer on a clip, it shouldn't go in your reel. It's super easy to notice and will get your resume thrown in the trash instantly.
The clips of people talking just threw off the vibe, all they really prove is you can frame a face and use a microphone, its not very necessarily. The naritive shots you had were nice but don't include them talking, again unnecessary. Use the shots that don't need words, like the kid walking with the pack and putting the gun to the guys head.
I did like some other shots too, like the dude playing the piano, great shots. Stuff like that should stay, but like a random pan of a city street shouldn't. Get what I'm saying?
Also, go for either 16:9 or 1:2.35 don't mix crops
Solid. Thanks dude. I appreciate the critique. Didn't really have anyone to help me with flow haha.
