15/16 ski season goals.

The temperatures are dipping as we are only a few long weeks away from opening weekend at some resorts.

My goals are to finally get fat butters like Max Hill as well as master switch carving.

So NS what are your goals for this season? Also update us as the season progresses to how you are doing with your goals. Enjoy the Gnar fellow NSers

I wanna learn more lip on blind 2 variations. lip on k-fed, lip2 pretz2 and overall improve my comfort with sliding left foot forward.



Also hoping to pick up a set of touring bindings and fall in love with something other than rails lol. I'm getting old.

IMotive my rail game, super fed, 2s on, bring my sw 2 on to k Feds, sw on Ray Charles, and a lot of other variations. For jumps I want to get good grabs with 7s and corks, rodes, flats, and overall just do tricks that I just can do, like I just go ham every so often and can throw down but I just wanna ski like that all the time

Learned back swaps over the summer and they are easy after like 10-15 hits. Spot the start of the rail while you pop and use a little counter rotation like a 270 on to stop your self from spinning farther and then quickly spot the end of the rail again. I actually backslap and as i land again spot the end of the rail, instead of spotting before i pop but thats just me. Brittany's should come pretty easy once you get comfy with them

Do another dub back, learn to grab blunts and mutes on cork 7 and 9, more consistent front 4s,get better at skiing switch over both shoulders, unnatural spins and rails, and finally make a decent edit!!!

back 4s
super fed
front 6?
superman lincoln (fun as fuck on olympic tramps)
Flat 3
Front flip
3s and 5s with some nice grabs off decent sized jumps
zero spin
switch backie?

Hopefully my balls have gotten bigger over the summer to try some of this stuff

thanks man, I've done em before but just never really locked in on them. You are right tho, brittanys came very easy when i did lock in a back swap

Most important thing is the spotting of the start of the rail and a little bit of counter rotation. This will help you stop and go to switch/ray charles. Got my first ray charles today on my setup

Im focusing on style. I want to be that guy who hauls through the park at absurd speed. I want to tap rails so hard, I go through a pair of skis every month (ok maybe not that hard cause I'm broke). I just want to ski super fast, and super aggressive. I want to keep it super smooth at the same time. I have finally discovered that this is the style for me, I just need to perfect it. Through trial and error I have discovered:

1. I look bad without poles.
2. I should not wear skinny pants. Ever.
3. I'm not one for butters/tailpresses.
4. I'm not one for swapping on rails.

yes. fuck yes. more people need to find their own style, something that they think is the dopest shit out and not just the same old park skier style. people see their first casabon edit and assume that the only way to have style is to copy everything he does, untrue. the only way to have style is to do your own thing at all times and make sure you are having fun and youre digging what youre doing

No need for a question mark. They're relatively easy if you can do front 4s well. Just huck it on a rail with more hang time and it'll go straight to your feet.

Rails: More than just flat and flat down rails, hopefully learn my first spin off (blind 2/front 2, whichever one is easier)

Jumps: 540 and switch 3s down better, grabs on my 3s, revenge on the 720 (fuck concussions)

definitley front 2, if you can 180 and slike a rail, you can front 2 off. watch a lot of trick tip videos it will really help

Coming off a shitty season last year with 2 concussions and 1 broken collarbone, I've kind of re-thought my entire approach to park. I would really like to learn more creative type tricks rather than tech tricks: hand drags, butters, presses. I just want to get a little more creative in the park. I also want to try and charge rather than just stop and wait at every feature, I've done that every now and then and it's super fun especially with a good crew. I also want to explore new mountains and meet some cool people along the way. Hoping for a good, injury free season this year.

Thanks man. The only thing I'm afraid of is landing backwards because last year my skis would ALWAYS pop off but I'm upping the DINs so hopefully this year they wont

Taking park to all mountain. Kind of over park progressing at this point in my life. I just want to be able to throw big 3's off cliffs, natural rollers, etc with a lot of style.

Also want to master cork 3 with blunt grabs.
