Inspired by the 'post your first car' thread, I figured there are a bunch of us who've been around for a while and have had a few cars over the years. What have you driven? Best car? Worst car? Favourite?

I've had a few over the years and with the exception of the Saturn and Shadow days, they've mostly gotten better over the years.

1. 1985 Honda Civic


2. 1985 Honda Civic


3. 1988 Honda Accord


4. 1992 Saturn (except in silver)


5. 1992 Dodge Shadow (I was broke and needed something to get to/from work)


6. 1992 Mercedes 300e (definitely one of my favourites)


7. 1998 Volvo 850 T5 (awesome car. Would get another Volvo for sure)


8. 1999 Toyota 4runner SR5 (loved it, but terrible on gas and I'm on the highway a lot)


9. 2006 BMW 325i (easily my favourite so far, but I've only had it a couple weeks now)

1. 1997 Buick Century. Great car, drove so nice on the highway. Poor man's Cadillac.
2. 1999 Mustang GT rag-top. Learned to drive stick on this. So much fun to drive.
2. 2008.5 (there's a difference) Mazdaspeed 3. My daily, but modded. Absolute laugh to drive. Not so great in the winter but I get by.

Once I got my license I sometimes had the choice

1992 Volvo 240 wagon which was awesome, drove that 60% of the time
2005 Toyota Tundra sr5, so damn fun drifting in dirt and flooring it with dat v8, drove it until I barely totalled it on an icey road (we were in the market for a new truck so it was kinda ok)
Now I have a 2001 crv, fucking hate it, 4wd is mediocre, 4 speed auto is shit, seats are awful, speakers are meh, the only plus side is its reliable as fuck, practical and it has only been through 2 winters so it has zero rust.

Hopefully Ill have a decent subaru, ep3 Si, mk4 gti or if I can find one, a galant vr4 after highschool to do my rally things in.

'96 Ford Exploder (it did just that, head gasket blew)

1998 Dodge Neon (tied for personal favorite for nostalgia purposes)

'99-01 (I forget) Volvo s80 (hand me down from the parents, not a bad whip at all)

'03 Saab 9-3 (the first car I bought with my own money) - Had it up until last month when the engine blew at over 200k+ miles. So many great times with this car. It was highly reliable and most likely my fault it died so early. The oil was low and it ran dry when the engine blew. Up until then i've only had routine maintenance done since never any major problems. Great fucking car!

'12 VW Jetta - Just got this last month certified pre-owned. So far I love it! My first car with an AUX cord which is a big deal to me. Another 5 speed and it drives so smoothly. Such a great, chill and affordable ride.

I don't have many photos, but it was as follows:

02 VW Polo. I left this on its side in a ditch two weeks after passing my test. Took an s-bend too fast for the conditions (greasy), clipped the first apex and the car span out and over the verge on the other side of the road.

05 Skoda Fabia, which is essentially a VW Golf. Fucking awesome car, but also one of very few good cars Skoda made in that period. 50 mpg, 0-60 in about 10 seconds, handling is awesome.

Looking to buy a deathtrap to drive around here at uni as well.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (the jeep in this pic isn't exactly mine, but it looks a lot like the one I own)


Currently has 121,xxx original miles, engine is an inline 6, it gets shit gas mileage but I still love it. Getting it inspected tomorrow morning, along with getting new and beefier tires.

I had only one car. My 1st car I bought on my own money. It was Toyota Supra. I chose it 'cause I have read good review on carveh.com . It was in the year 1996 . But I am going to buy a new Toyota Camry this year. So my car history not so long.

Im not rich and the frame was hardly bent. It was more than $10k when it was new...my mom drove it with the airbag hanging out for a few weeks before my dad got his truck.

I meant the only reason it was "kinda ok" was becuase we were getting a new truck anyways since it was high mileage and getting rusty. Its not ok that I crashed it and hurt the chance of selling it.

mine wasnt lifted like that but had some larger than stock tires on. that was the closest one i could find in a quick google image search. i agree it was probably the best looking truck i've had from work. unfortunately all the pos trucks i have had are base model with absolutely no convenience upgrades so they still suck
