speedyswapper34Im also considering both bindings not sure how durable the 11 is in comparision to the 13
JakeSmithThe 11 has a simpler/cheaper/lighter/more-recreational heel. Tyrolia makes an 11, 12, and 13 din model for some reason. 12 din and up models have a bit burlier heel. I have a love affair for the tyrolia bindings with the burlier heel and the race toe, it's what I like and so it's what I recommend. But I can't really recommend it for you as you didn't tell anything about yourself in your OP.
Simply based on your weight I'm gonna assume you are a younger guy and I'd assume you are going to progress quite a bit in the next few years as you grow up. So just based on that I'd go with the 12 or 13 din model.
SV.lukastaylorI'm 14, 5'11, and 110 pounds, i think the 13 sounds like a lot better for more agressive skiing. i went through 2 pairs of squires last season so i dont want to repeat that haha.
SV.lukastaylorshit i ment 5'3 and 110 pounds
Krotchs_BrotherMan at that size I'm very surprised you broke Squires.
Not to say that Squires are particularly high quality, they really aren't. But you still shouldn't be breaking 2 pairs in a season.
Anyway, at that size unless you're hucking dubs off cliffs you should be fine with the cheapest model.
fluffycloudsYour not stupid, you just learnd me one thing and that ain't easy. Didn't know 11s existed, thanks for the knowledge.
SV.lukastaylorin my opinion squires are kind of shitty they always release landing switch and they broke on me for the stupidest reasons, but people can think differently.
KravtZ99.999999% of skiers have no reason to ever crank the din higher than 11.
