Companies that produce clothing for businesses?

My friends and I are trying to start a ski clothing company. My question is does anybody know of companies that will produce your designs?

Looking for anyone who will produce ski pants, jackets, tall tees, hoodies, either all that or some of it.

If I'm way off base on something let me know, but dont tell me that this is a bad idea. Not looking for that out of this post.

Wait...so you don't want to start a ski clothing company, you want to design some logo and come up with a name, and then put the logo/name on some clothes made by a generic clothing manufacturer?

No, I just dont know how I'm going to get the clothes produced. Im not that proficient at sewing. Thats exactly my problem. Seriously ideas are welcome

2. search for winter clothing and the like.
3. Contact the Manufacture.
4. Submit Designs.
5. Negotiate the contract.
6. Profit

For Example - Unbranded goose down jackets for $19. Minimum order 300. Sew a logo on, make a cool site, sell for $200

Why would I do this all from scratch when I have a massive website where someone's probably been through what I'm currently going through and can give me advice? If youre not using all your resources at your disposal, THEN you have no business starting a shitty clothing company.

To be fair to him if he makes it look cool enough.....well in that case it looks f-ing cool and thats now the most important thing the fact its a mass produced shitty down jacket is now secondary.


OP- don't get too discouraged by the hating on this thread just take it to heart and realize that you have to up your game and creativity or you will be laughed at. (Or ask alibaba to produce identical items to what saga.com sells and pump them on b/s/t to dumbasses on here I guarantee you can make some coin that way!)



Haha and btw since I mentioned Saga I want to give them some credit. I complained about a thermal I bought from them on here said it wasn't comfy enough and I was a little disappointed and to their credit the following years thermals were fucking money and everything I coulda wanted good for them they stepped their game up.

I couldn't give a flying fried fuck about how much money this kid spends on what.

what I'm getting at is that nobody will want to buy outerwear that is made by some corporate supply company but marketed and sold by some dumb fuck who will make a 300% markup on it. (david lesh is the exception I guess)

if OP wants to simply print shirts and sell them, that's one thing, lots of people do it. But approaching an internet forum announcing that you are starting a "ski clothing company" and you need random people to hold your hand through literally the FIRST step makes you look like a fucking idiot.
