THEDIRTYBUBBLEWhenever I lay then out, I always kick myself in the back of the head. I tried some using size 171 skis (I'm 5' 7" and I normally ride 179s), and I still kept kicking myself. How do I stop this because it is the most terrifying feeling ever.
SnowshoeThompsoninitiate the flip with your hips, not just your shoulders.
hippi3773This happened to me this past season when I was learning backflips. If this happens you're throwing/ popping it more angled back and probably throwing your head back. Make sure when you pop that you pop really hard straight up, look back, and try to get your body nice and aligned. Hopefully this video helps too:

perryhunterI think you should stop back flipping before any serious injuries will catch you. Or, you can try it first on a tramp.
T-VanJust don't lay them out as much
