2015 winter home setup

Trying to go hard on the home set-up this year. Already got a rope tow and groomer from past years but wanna setup new creative features. What features do u guys have. Upload pics of ur setup

Also interested in good ways to make features or where to get supplies for cheap

That's dope, just go on Craigslist for pvc and I got free wood from my dad because he owns a construction kind of business. Also where are you located? I'm also from new york

Yeah craigslist is a good idea I'll check that out for sure. Also I'm near albany/east greenbush area if ur around there definitely come hit it up this year

Thats sick dude... except they have to hike bac up i got a rope tow

howd they make those pipes and rails tho it looked like logs with like some coat on top or like a plastic shell. definitely gonna try to make some of those this year

Dfd but the flat is a 3 section waterfall, so like dfffd would be real fun

find some big as jugs or a corrugated tube to use a like a stall feature or something like that. You could do a similar set up but put a rail up there and come from the side and hit it into a tranny at the end like in the latest SLVSH games. Also a Y rail would be pretty cool (3 spirit rails combined into Y rail). I recommend making flat bars or like a double barrel (go to Build a Jib cult to find out how to do this) and also try and find a fatty tube at construction sites.

Yeah I was thinking bout that in class but I feel like you'd either gap the waterfalls or just slip out super easy, can't see a down waterfall working too well but idk I suck at rails

I asked them about this a while ago, it is a normal pvc tube, but they have put logs through the middle. I think this helps with durability and strength, and also helps support the rails/keep them standing

Imagine the bluntslides. You wouldn't even have to have skill if you go fast enough. Just drag your tails on the rail!

My idea: Waterfall rainbow rail. Sliding it would be a rollercoaster and handdrags would feel sick (and probably hurt).

Water fall sounds sick. also thinkin about dfd for switch ups and some more corragateds. Thinkin about makin a mad long rail too. like 20+ ft.

U need a old lawnmower and a shit ton of rope. So u put the lawn mower at the top of ur hill and take off one of the tires so it's just the rim and u jack that side up. Then u run the rope through that down to the bottom to pulleys and shit. U gotta tie off the lawnmower and pulleys also. And the part where the rim is showin it helps to weld like another kind of rim up there so it grips the rope better. Idk it's really hard to get it right so the rope slides right

do you have a rake i would think the groomer is one, but i'm just clarifying. also where did you buy the rake/groomer and for how much? did you also get or build a snowmaker?

The groomer doesnt have a rake they are very expensive but my dad got the groomer on Craigslist I believe (im still in hs) or maybe he just saw a guy who had one. I think it was around 2-4 grand but we needed to put a lot of work into it. Last winter we had to replace the transmission as well as some other things. As far as a snow maker goes no I don't have one we just shovel a lot but this year I might go to an ice rink and get snow for early on.
