A few friends and I ducked a rope. Patrol saw us and came after us, but we hid in the trees for a few minutes. It wasn't very climatic and we never really got in trouble. I wish I had a cooler story.

This one time I sprayed a patroller and yelled "Fuck you pigs" then ski'd away. I was just casually skiing. All the sudden there were 50+ of them coming up from behind. I started trying to go faster but my park skis were too beat up. Ended up skiing toward the woods. I dipped into the woods but I suck at skiing trees(only hit park) so they kept gaining on me. Moved back toward the trail. Right before I came out of the woods, I saw a branch on the ground I grabbed it. The first patroller approached and looked like he was going to tackle me. I hit him with a branch and he went flying off a huge cliff. It was at least 4,000 feet. Then another one came from the left and smashed his binding with the branch and he went flying into a lift tower and it exploded. I looked up and saw people diving off the chairs trying to save themselves before the lift buckled but it was no hope, they all died I'm sure. I thought this for sure would deter the rest of the patrollers but it didn't. Then I looked at the star meter in the corner of my goggles and saw that I was at 3 stars. Now behind me in addition to patrollers there were cops driving suv's down the slopes. I was going as fast I could. I skitched one of the cars for a while and then jumped inside. I hit the driver with a branch and then, found a flare gun int the back. I started sending shot after shot at their tires. One flipped over and went into a lodge and it blew up. There were gapers trying to ski away on fire, people screaming. And then I saw a huge gap approaching, I figured I could lose them if I cleared it. By then I had 5 stars, There were tanks, choppers, naval ships all chasing me down the ski run. About 100 feet before the gap I saw some patrollers ahead. They hit a button and a huge explosion went up in front of me. With James bond like skills I spun around switch and ducked my head down. I came screaming out of the fireball toward the lip. As I launched I dipped into a switch 9 to docge the bullets coming from the chopper. Pew pew pew, clank clank as some flew by and others got knocked out of the sky by my skis. I saw a man in a chopper pulling out an rpg. As I landed the rpg tuck my boots and I was launched forward. The pain hit me almost immediately but this was no time to stop. I found a snow tunnel used by snowboarders to sneak into the resort and dove in. Luckily one had left a sled at the top. Now I'm riding this sled through this underground luge run, still being pursued by choppers, tanks, and more. They were gaining on me when from the side I saw the jamaican bobsled team passing me. They yelled "Jump in mon!" and I did. We screamed through the corners and came flying out at brighton, no sooner had we come flying out of the tunnel, than I heard my moms voice over the bullets and tanks. She was pissed that I was going to make us late, and that I should have listened to her about staying up at night playing my video games. I threw on some clothes and ran down stairs, gta still on the tv.

And so it was over, the most insane hot pursuit of my skiing career.

one time we were skiing and a bunch of little kids skied into a fence and the ski patrol thought it was us who did it because he was a racist. he closed the park down because of it and naturally i asked him why he closed it down and he said it was because of us pulling out fence posts and leaving them everywhere. we said that we didnt do it but he wasnt convinced. he asked for us to show him our passes which we all did and he ended up taking my friends. after that he pointed at me and said, "let me see your pass" and i said no and walked back to the lodge. he later gave my friend his pass back and that was it.

I do this intentionally when I see them checking and skate away as fast as I can and get them running after me... It's the little things in life

Gaper day 2015 (A.K.A closing day), huge group of friends (~15-20 of us) were lighting fireworks off and generally fucking around with the mountain. One dumbass in our group started to pull the "slow" and "merging run" signs out of the ground right by a lift. When we got to the bottom, the mountain manager and the lift guy started bitching us out and how we were gonna get a stearn talking to from the Patrollers at the top. We laughed it off, but we probably should have been prepared.

When we got to the top, there was an entire ring of ski patrol, information people, and ski instructors surrounding the top of the lift. The patrol had their snomobiles and everything. We all got detained and had to show them our passes. Somehow I ended up sneaking away out the back so I didn't have to show anyone my pass.

They didn't pull any of our passes, but told us to stop fucking up the mountain. So we just lit off mortars and stopped taking signs out of the ground. Good day tho

One day one of my friends brought his bong up (which was pretty big, it had three tree perks). He kept it in one of those bong bags which are very obvious. When we were getting on the lift, just about to sit down on the ski chair, an old fart ski patrol man said "hey are you bringing that bong up to fun land?" So naturally my friend and I are thinking "oh shit what should we do." We decided that we would just play it off like nothing happened and just make up some lame excuse if he asked us about it. When we got to the top he just came up behind us and said "you kids have a good day" and he skied off. Needless to say we did have a good day.

I was working lifts this season at tline, chilling at the bottom with the ticket scanner hes out in the maze of like 8 people when one guys dips off and the loss prevention scanner yells at em he keeps dipping to the other lift. he gets the managers involved and they hang the kid at the top of the other lift (stopping the lift until they get there) 3 managers and the scanner, one valid season pass scan later we had a bunch of pissed off liftys and one skier laughing his ass off. i couldnt help but laugh either.

My first Season ever snowboarding we were at skibowl up on upperbowl just had ducked ropes to dip into "upper surprise" when a couple patrollers roll up as were all strapping back in, they tell us to come back or were losing our passes. we all say obscenities and go to dip out. me being the gaper of the group then caught toes in the pow about 3 feet forward. didnt lose my pass but had to have a slow lame ride down the run with them talking about safety when my homies were shredding the best stash.

also at skibowl in my second season up on main run right at the crest on a nice snow year you can jump off like 7feet to snow. so i decided to jump with one friend on the dub chair as soon as we land a volunteer patrol was yelling from the lift. the crazy fucker jumped after us and tried chasing us down the face but he couldnt ride for shit so he just ass heel edged as we mobbed away.

I have sat and worked bump top of highest lift, with the patrollers for 4 years and ive seen and heard some crazy shit on the radios and what they come in and report etc. lots of deaths and life flights last couple years, ive got stories like these and funny liftie stories for days. great times.

Our final decision was to stand there perfectly still like trees, whispering "I have to take a shit', and cover our goggles so the lights wouldnt reflect off of them. problem was we had one patroller on each side of the path looking right at us. we did this in silence for 5 minutes and then they just left. Thats all I got.

So it's 10:00 and closing time. Buddy and I get last ride up the chairlift. My car was parked at the bottom of some glades to the right of the buck quad. Problem is they were closed and roped off. I don't want to go all the way down the hill to have to walk half way up to where I'm parked so we decided we were gonna go through the glades. Sadly there was a ski patrol in the lift above us. Started freaking the fuck out . we take off into the trees. Imediatley I smoke one. Continue flying down. Patrol is yelling at us. Get to the trail merge where patrol is waiting. We just didn't stop. My busy knocks over one of the patrol and we go off the trail down to the empty parking lot. Five into car and take off. It was a close one

not really running away but here goes:

poaching a border cross trail pre-event, ducked the rope flying down and ski patrol was waiting at the bottom for me. I stopped and braced myself for the impending pass pull.

guy starts screaming at me i trip over myself apologizing because i don't want to loose my pass ( i had a re-loadable kids pass so it saves me like 20 bucks every time) he takes my pass anyway and continues to yell. That's when my fellow skiers helped me out....

as hes sitting there berating me, people going up the lift start heckling the fuck out of him and just downright cursing him out. I can feel his uneasiness building. Finally he lets out a huge sigh and says "well, you know i don't really want to do this right?

Long story short the guy gave me my pass back and i totally poached that course one more time before packing it up.

My hill doesn't allow inverts. Tossed a flat 3 and the general manager of my hill chased me around for the rest of the day

Ski patrol at Coffee Mill is pretty lame. One day there were 2 people that got hurt on the "big" jump so they closed it off for the day. This was about the 3rd time that they did that when I was there, even though there were other people there who were perfectly capable of hitting the jump without getting hurt. On that specific day I just moved the cones out of the way so that I could keep hitting it. Never got caught, they just moved it back a few runs later.

Not my story but of some dude i saw at my local hill. This mans wife supposedly got inured on the top of the hill so the ski patrol arrived with their snowmobiles ect... the husband is somehow very against having the ski patrollers helping and starts yelling "I NEED TO SAVE HER"

he then cusses out the whole ski patrol squad, picks up his wife and puts her on the SKI PATROL snowmobile and STEALS it and drives down the hill. Ski patrol director calls the cops and eventually he got caught.

Wife ended up being all fine, the husband was pretty crazy

I usually book it so I am too fast. The one time a real patrol chased me I was on the lift when they rolled up to the cattrack above the liftline and they just yelled at me to slow down

I couldnt ever escape.......... my mom was on the patrol at our local mountain. Granted, it was helpful in some situations like being able to be the last ones on the mountain or maybe getting some freshies before anyone else. But for the most part it sucked, the patrol knew who I was and didnt chase me, they would just contact my mom. And even if she wasnt there, I would still get it when I got home. Never got my pass pulled but I did have to clean the patrol lounge a time or two.

I said I don’t have any more drugs and I’m not an alchoholic .... well apparently he was bc he flipped ... punch/slapped the side of my head with the grace of a blind retard grabs my jacket by my neck , begins to mouth off well I blast brahs in the stomach , jaw eye and bolt out before I could understand what he was about to say I start skating down this O I just wanna get to lodge get skis off and dip ( dads Chief Justice will whoop my ass going off in Russian so I can’t get caught , death is a better choice ) , I hear multiple hey you , hey mf etc... a group or non patrol adults were after me , I dip off trail, it’s not skiable , I blow thru some smaller trees , jaggers , eat shit , back up go go go , panicky can’t breathe go go I get to the bottom doesn’t sound like anyone’s coming , boom get nailed as I’m taking my skis off dude falls too , grab my shit run , made it to car gun it , make it a mile now there’s cop lights shit.... all a sudden a skier cork 7 s over the road over my car waving a stick at these patrollers chasing him.... wtf??? This distracted the first cop he wrecks and I gain ground all a sudden the lift falls in a fiery blast the skiers fall and the pursuing officer is cut off and I told another day

Jumped off a chair that had been stopped for 10 minutes and saw/heard one of the dickheads radioing his pals describing my jacket as I was picking up my poles a good 12 chairs down. Hung my coat on a tree for an hour or so in the woods and skied to a different lift before coming back a few hrs later. No issues.

You haven't lived until a mountain calls Mass state police to get you off their mountain... Nothing a quick dip to the car for another jacket cant fix.

Honestly I didnt think much of it but we setup a lil street style rail down a set of stairs that just happen to be next to the ski patrol location. it was all ready to go so i dropped in and went for it. Next thing i know ski patrol tries to block me but i dip around and still manage to slide the rail. Because of where it was i had to unclip and walk back up to the lift area. Next thing i know he starts yelling to wait right there.. well.. i didnt wait right there and got on the lift (there was no line as this was night skiing). My buddy freezes and doesnt know what to do so he tries to ski away as well but the ski patrol reach and grab for him. A lot of words were said apparently but i was already on the lift. I get to the top and well.. radios travel faster than i can on a lift and there were 2 more waiting at the top. Idiots didnt have skis on so i just ski past them and bomb down. Somehow a snowmobile saw me and starts chasing. I head for my car (parked in a side lot that we call the basketball court) My buddy somehow got away from the other patroller and was running towards my car. We threw the shit in the car and as we were leaving mass police are pulling up the access road as we were going the other way, lights and sirens flashing. Cops didn't know it was my car and the patrollers didnt know where we parked. All i know is my buddy kept yelling "go, they are calling the cops."

Why I love snowshoe they don’t bother me one bit , I’m a good boy but I “ bomb “ as safely as possible all over and smoke some weed ( have been caught dude was chill af, smoked in the hotel room I know I stunk up the building , never an issue , beer in the hut tub no prob , I’m pretty quiet mostly but even the louder people don’t seem to be bothered

Honestly though its usually only shitty skiiers they are worried about hurting themselves who get hassled. If you ski better then them they usually leave you alone. Sort of a law of the jungle type of thing.
